Whoa. It's been so long since I've been here. Good grief. I'm not as addicted to the internet as I was before, so I haven't been online as much. Sad. :(

Oh well. I'll try to update every now and then.

Also, I know I'm one of those people who never finish anything, so instead of a continuous comic, I'm sticking to comic strips. Speaking of comic strips, they can be found here. The layout's not that great, but so what?

That's pretty much it.

This was the best trip I've ever been in. Not only did we go to the beach and hung out with the AP Art students, we were fortunate enough to see amazing art.

Places we went to:

Laguna College of Art and Design
 - I love this school. Seriously.

Laguna Beach
 - This may be the only thing that I did not like. It smelled bad. Really bad. And it was dirty.

Festival of Arts - Pageant of the Masters
 - Absolutely amazing. Classical and contemporary works were "re-created" using real people. It must be really hard to stay completely still like people in the paintings.

Los Angeles County Museum of Art
 - I loved the Japanese Art Exhibit that they had. Especially the ojime beads. They were very detailed, despite the very small size. I liked the South and Southeastern Art Exhibit, too.

Venice Beach
 - Oh hell yeah. That was fun. Right after getting pummeled by waves, we ate altogether. Then we bought stuff. Whoo! This beach was way cleaner than the other one.

I'll try to post pics tomorrow. I took a lot. They're not great, but at least the memories are.

Time to rest.

Woop woop.

I was looking forward to eating good food, but I ended up cooking for both my mom and I. This basically means that the food ain't all that great. At all. When I woke up, my mom wasn't even home. She was working. When she got home at around 3:40 pm, that was when I started my day. I got off my butt, washed my face, and proceeded to cook green beans with shrimp and shrimp paste. After that, I cleaned my room so you can actually see the floor. Josephine, the male skeleton in my room was at the foot of my bed, covered in blankets, dirty laundry, and scrap paper. After cleaning, I found my old skirt that I rarely wear. I think I've only worn it outside the house twice. Once during my freshman year, and once when I went to see a movie with Aaron and Pancake. I remember Pancake getting mad at me for bringing Aaron along. Hrm.

I made some alterations with the skirt. Minor ones. I took the hook things that it had and put in purple ribbons in their place. I doubt I'll wear it, though. Too embarrassing.

Now about the comic.

I've finished inking most of it, but I'm having trouble deciding what I should do for shading. I want to do a really simple shading, which means none at all, but it just seems... bleh. Maybe I'll just leave the lines the way they are, and fill in the black with a Sharpie or that brush pen that I have. Then I'll scan it and shade it using Photoshop. I don't know. Well, I'm off to watch more Law and Order alone, because my mom's somewhere out there partying with my cousin and her husband. Maybe I'll even finish that first page and sketch the second one.

P.S. I need a shower.

Being Yoki
There's nothing to say, really. Yesterday, I spent the day watching tv, trying out my Copics and my watercolor pencils. I still need practice with inking. My hands are so shaky that all my lines look like crap.

Oh yeah. Watercolor pencils + regular paper = No. The paper crinkles. D':

I'm making a comic. It's going to be "Cinderella Wore Combat Boots" by Jerry Chase. I found the script last night, so I decided to draw the characters. I played the storyteller in my Theater class. It was fun. Except I had most of the lines. And the people in my group didn't really commit. Hah. That's what I get for being too nice. I can't say "I don't want to be in your group. You don't do anything." If I said that, they'd think I'm an asshole and an elitist. It ain't true. to a certain extent.

Well, right now, Aaron is here, reading my newest yaoi manga (Kissing). I need a shower. And I need to brush my hair. I reek and my hair is all in one clump.

I've done the sketch for the first page of the comics. The style is simple and sketchy. I like it. :D
